Ben McCutchin is an experienced sales associate at Henry S. Miller Brokerage, LLC dealing primarily in the acquisition and disposition of land and ranch properties. He has been involved in real estate since 1967.
Personal Information:
Ben was born in Dallas, Texas and has made it his home his entire lifetime. He is married with two grown children and has a large extended family still in the area. The McCutchin family’s home place was on acreage located at what is now Preston and Beltline Rd in North Dallas and he continues to reside in that general area. He has been involved in the rapid growth of Dallas from Northwest Highway to Frisco, starting in the late 1960’s until now.

Ben and his brothers developed Pepper Square Shopping Center and Pepper Square Apartments in the 1970’s and was active in their management until they were sold in the 1990’s. He was involved in the buying and selling of properties around the Grapevine/Coppell area when the DFW Airport was being built. He headed a group of investors in several tracts of land in the State Highway 183/ Valley View Lane area on the south side of DFW Airport.
Ben has also been involved in the large tract farm real estate industry. He has personally bought, developed, and operated two large horse ranches which were then either sold to other breeders or subdivided into residential lots.

Ben joined his family’s real estate and oil and gas business in the late 1960’s with properties around the State Highway 121 and Preston Road area. He has dealt with the governmental red tape involved in developing properties both for his own benefit and for others. His family background has also given him opportunities to deal with oil and gas developers, which is a valuable insight into a greatly expanding factor of the real estate industry in the North Texas Area. Since his beginning of his real estate career, Ben has been involved in the purchase or sale of more than 300 properties in the Metroplex.
Ben has a reputation as being an honest, trustworthy man. He believes in conducting his client’s business transactions as he would his own.
In the first six months with the Miller firm, Ben has listed properties in prime locations in Frisco, Hickory Creek and Denton County.
Associations:
Ben has acted as Trustee for over one hundred properties for investor groups. He created and served on the board of a municipal levee district in Irving, Texas across from D.F.W. Airport as that area was being developed. He has also been on the Board of Directors of several local companies and banks.
Ben has been the member of several country and athletic clubs around the area throughout the years. He has been active in the Dallas community throughout his lifetime and is well known to many business people in the area.
