Vaughn Miller is President of the Retail Division of Henry S. Miller
Commercial; and Executive
Vice President and General Manager of Henry S.
Miller Companies. Vaughn has been in the commercial real estate business for
over 19 years and is a principal and shareholder of the company; he oversees 12 Retail Brokers in the Dallas office as well as the
Henry S. Miller Company Shopping Center portfolio. He was recently
elected to the Executive Board of
Realty Resources Network, a network of the top
retail real estate firms in the country.
He has an extensive background in the sale, leasing and development
of “high profile” Dallas retail land and shopping centers, including
the notable corners of Central Expressway and Forest Lane, Central
Expressway and Royal Lane, Inwood Road and Forest Lane, and Spring
Valley Road and Midway Road. Vaughn also has experience in
representing retailers in seeking multiple site locations, including
Boston Market’s initial entry into Dallas/Ft. Worth (40 stores) and
Blockbuster Video’s early expansion in Dallas/Ft. Worth (19 stores).
Personal Information: Vaughn’s great grandfather was Henry S.
Miller, Sr. (1890-1968), who founded the company bearing his name in
1914. From a 1-man office, Henry Sr. built the company to the
largest in Texas with the help of Vaughn’s grandfather, Henry S.
Miller, Jr., and father, Vance C. Miller. Today, Vaughn’s father,
Vance, is Chairman and CEO and Henry Jr. is Chairman Emeritus. Henry
Jr., Vance and Vaughn all attended Southern Methodist
University in Dallas. Vaughn is an avid
polo player with a 1
goal rating plays throughout the world at various venues including
England with the
Prince of Wales at his 2004 annual charity match. Vaughn’s home
clubs are in Dallas at Las
Colinas Polo Club and Oak
Point Polo Club.
Career Transaction Highlights: In
2000 thru 2005 Vaughn was engaged to sell the Henry S. Miller Wal-Mart Outparcel
Portfolio of shopping centers throughout the South Central and
Eastern U.S and has successfully sold 23 centers for over $52
million in transaction volume.

| In 1997 & 1998 Vaughn completed the sale of Mobil Land Development's landmark property,
Parkside
Center, 35 Acres, in North Dallas at Midway Road and Spring Valley

| In 1996 & 1997 Vaughn completed transactions on several landmark Dallas properties including: |
| The "Gemini" drive-in theatre site,
a 27 acre corner at Central Expressway and Forest Lane which
he ground leased to AutoNation for the McLendon family; |
| The
"Old K-mart/Tinseltown" property, a 22 acre corner
at the North Dallas Tollway and Forest Lane which he sold to
Lowe's Home Improvements for the Daniel family; These properties represented 2 of the last major undeveloped retail corners inside the "Loop"
(IH 635) of north Dallas; |

| In 1995 Vaughn and his Tenant Representation team completed
Boston Market's entry into the Dallas/Ft. Worth area with over 40 new restaurant locations ahead of schedule and under budget; |

| In 1994 Vaughn handled the acquisition and renovation of Pepper Square Shopping Center, a landmark 194,000 sf retail center at Preston Road and Beltline Road, and re-tenanted the property with Old Navy Clothing Co., Stein Mart and Blockbuster Music; |

| In 1993 Vaughn handled the marketing and brokerage for the landmark 16 acre corner at Central Expressway and Royal Lane into a 174,000 sf "Power Center" anchored by Service Merchandise, Jumbo Sports and
Albertson's for the Stewart family. |
Professional History: Vaughn started his real estate career in 1986 when he joined the Miller Companies working for his father at Vance C. Miller Interests. There he became Vice President and headed the commercial brokerage operation as well as the marketing and leasing of over 300,000 sf of retail projects in north Dallas. In 1990 He joined Henry S. Miller/Grubb & Ellis as Vice President of the Retail Properties Division. Then in 1993 he joined the Dallas Preston Center office of Henry S. Miller Realtors, as Senior Vice President and built the Commercial Division to 17 retail brokers in Dallas and Houston. In April 1994 Vaughn became Executive Vice President and head of the Commercial/Retail Division when the Miller family formed Miller Commercial by merging the Commercial Division of Henry S. Miller Company with Newmarket
Grunnah-Cole and Kelley, Lundeen & Crawford to form the largest commercial real estate firm in Dallas/Ft. Worth and the largest independent firm in Texas. Vaughn was Top Producer in 1994 and No. 3 Producer in 1996; and in 1994 was promoted to President of the Commercial/Retail Division and in October 1993 was named to the prestigious Chairman's Council of the Henry S. Miller Companies for reaching $1 Million in career commission production.
In 2006 he was elected to the Board of Directors of TCN (The
Commercial Network), a network of the top
commercial real estate firms in the country; and in 2007 he was
elected to the Executive Board of
Realty Resources Network, a network of the top
retail real estate firms in the country.
