Henry S. Miller Commercial is a proud member of the industry's premier trade organization, the Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA).

The Project Management Division is the construction oversight arm of Henry S. Miller Commercial.  We provide third party independent project management and development management consulting services.  As the owner’s representative, we help clients successfully navigate and manage the planning, programming, scheduling, budgeting, design, construction and move-in process on any type of project large or small.  Our Project Management staff has years of experience in construction and development in all types of construction in various roles.  We Provide Project and Construction Management Services For:

HSM Project Management Services Typical Scope of Work

  • Work with owner's personnel and other consultants to determine and quantify and validate project requirements.  Coordinate owner/user input and responses to requests for information and approvals.  Develop and establish project schedules and budgets or project proformas.

  • Coordinate and supervise the activities of various architects, engineers and consultants required for project accomplishment, including owner-provided systems.

  • Plan, organize and coordinate construction programs and schedules including assistance in necessary procurement and contract development functions.

  • Observe construction progress, monitor costs, schedules and completed work.

  • Function as the owner's representative in dealing with designers, contractors, including review of construction activities in the field.

  • Evaluate and expedite change orders, owner/user request and monthly billings and invoices.  

  • Assist in establishing substantial completion dates, move-in schedules, punch lists and final completion schedules.  

  • Assist in interfacing with various public agencies and authorities where required for project accomplishment.

  • Attend or coordinate and conduct project meetings as required.

  • Assist in and coordinate the as-built drawings, operating and maintenance instructions, and oversee commissioning.

  • Manage and coordinate facility move-in.
