The Henry S.
Miller Company was established in 1914 when Henry S. Miller,
Sr. started his real estate career. From a one-man
office, the company today is the largest independent real
estate brokerage services firm in Texas and has forged a
tradition of service and integrity for over 85 years.
Henry S.
Miller, Sr. is still recognized
as one of Dallas' most honored professionals. Henry S.
Miller, Jr. became Chairman and Chief Executive Officer in
1960 and developed the company's expertise in brokerage,
property management, developing shopping centers and office
buildings. The company was the first to offer
specialized real estate services.
Vance C. Miller
became President in 1970 and led the expansion throughout the
1970s and 1980s. In 1984, the company merged with
another major firm to form the nation's third largest real
estate services firm.

In 1991, Henry
S. Miller, Jr. and Vance C. Miller announced the reacquisition
of Henry S. Miller Co., Realtors, with 26 offices and 1,000
associates in Dallas, Ft. Worth, Austin and Houston.
In March, 1994,
the Miller family announced the formation of Henry S. Miller
Commercial Co., a full service real estate company to serve
the commercial needs of its clients while positioning itself
strategically to take advantage of the expanding commercial
real estate market.
In December,
1993, the company expanded its residential brokerage business
into Colorado with a major investment in Perry & Butler
Realty, Inc. and American Western Mortgage Company.
Perry & Butler, serving the Denver area residential market
since 1963, is one of Denver's leading brokerage firms with 10
offices and 300 associates.
Henry S. Miller
Development Group and Vance C. Miller Interests, Inc. are
Miller development operations specializing in the development
and ownership of shopping centers, including Pepper Square and
Preston Trail Plaza, office buildings and residential
communities.
Miller Club
Group owns and operates Prestonwood Country Club and Signature
Athletic Club and provides consulting and development services
to residential golf course communities throughout the
Southwest.
