Mariah Bay Development, Inc. Buys Interstate 30 Property

DALLAS, TX - December 27, 2001--Mariah Bay Development, Inc. bought 129 acres of land in Rockwall from 97 Rockwall Industrial, Ltd. The land, located at the southeast corner of Interstate 30 and FM 549 in Rockwall, will be used for highway commercial and light industrial development. The land is adjacent to the successful Rockwall Economic Development Corporation’s 150-acre Rockwall Technology Park. Before selling, 97 Rockwall Industrial, Inc. had the land rezoned and added utilities. Current plans for the property include development for resale to other users. Darrell Hurmis, Robert Grunnah and Dave Valdez, brokers with Henry S. Miller Commercial, represented both the buyer and seller in the deal. The company will also help Mariah Bay Development, Inc. market the property after its development.
