HSM Investments Purchases 300 Unit Class A Apartment Complex in Plano, Texas

DALLAS, TX - November 6, 2003 --Vance C. Miller, President of Henry S. Miller Companies, announces the purchase of a 300 unit class A apartment complex, Waters Edge Luxury Apartments at Preston Road and Spring Creek Parkway overlooking White Rock Creek in Plano, Texas.  Miller explains, “In my 44 years of handling the selling and purchasing of multi family properties, I have never seen such an incredible design and well built structure such as this one."  Mike McAuley, President of Miler Investments Company, adds that "the Henry S. Miller Company feels an opportunity exists in the multi- family market to purchase superior quality properties in premier locations. Waters Edge was a prime choice for acquisition and we were very happy to be able to provide our partners with the opportunity to own such a great asset.”  In excess of $20 million, the purchase was made by Waters Edge in Preston, Ltd. that was assembled with partners by Miller Investments, Inc. and handled by Steve Harris (President of Henry S. Miller Investment Company) and Mike McAuley (President of Miller Realty
  Investment Partners, Inc.) The seller was a partnership headed by Larry Peel from Austin, Texas.
