Hibbett Sports Leases 5,240 sf

DALLAS, TX - November 1, 2007 -- Hibbett Sports has leased 5,240 square feet from Landlord, Mexia Plaza Associates L.P. Hibbett Sports, a national sporting goods chain store, plans to open another location in this space located on Hwy 87 adjacent to WalMart Super Center in Mexia, Texas.  Hibbett Sports, Inc., formerly Hibbett Sporting Goods, Inc., incorporated in October 1996, is an operator of sporting goods retail stores in small to mid-sized markets predominately in the Sunbelt, Mid-Atlantic and Midwest. The Company's merchandise assortment features a core selection of brand name merchandise emphasizing individual team sports complemented by a selection of localized apparel and accessories designed to appeal to a range of customers within each market. As of February 3, 2007, the Company operated 593 Hibbett Sports stores, as well as 16 smaller-format Sports Additions athletic shoe stores and four larger-format Sports & Co. superstores in 23 states, opening the Company's first store in Arizona during the fiscal year ended February 3, 2007(fiscal2007).  The Company's primary retail format is Hibbett Sports, a 5,000-square-foot store located in enclosed malls or in strip centers, which are generally the center of commerce within the area and that are usually anchored by a Wal-Mart store. The Company tailors its Hibbett Sports stores to the size and demographics conditions of each market. Of these stores, 202 Hibbett Sports stores are located in enclosed malls, and the remaining 391 stores are located in strip centers.  Rita LaRue of Henry S.
