HSM Commercial Announces Formation of Henry S. Miller Hospitality Group Names J. David Young, Vice President

DALLAS, TX - March 18, 2008 -- Henry S. Miller Commercial, LLC announces the formation of their hospitality division, Henry S. Miller Hospitality Group. “Henry S. Miller Hospitality Group will enable Henry S. Miller Commercial to satisfy clients’ requests for hotel properties as well as developer clients looking for hotel operators to partner with on projects,” said President/COO, Sam Kartalis. The group will be lead by J. David Young, named Vice President. Mr. Young will join the Henry S. Miller Commercial team April 1st, and brings with him over 18 years of real estate experience. He specializes in hospitality brokerage and development, both nationally and internationally. “Someone with J. David Young’s experience will be instrumental in servicing all of our clients hospitality needs,” Sam Kartalis. 

About J. David Young:  Before joining Henry S. Miller Commercial, LLC, J. David Young, started his real estate career in 1989 as Regional Vice President of Development for Days Inn of America. Young then joined Hospitality Franchise Systems, Inc. as Regional Vice President in 1990 and served in that position till 1992 when he became the Senior Vice President of Development for HFS, Inc. Western Region. In 1995, Young was promoted to Managing Director, International Franchise Development and was significant in the initial development of HFS, Inc.’s international hotel division. During his time as Managing Director, Young was in charge of expansion and development in 29 countries within Asia, South Africa, the Pacific Rim, the Middle East and Latin America. Most recently, as Hospitality Broker and Advisor for Intergroup Companies, Young provided development, brokerage and financing advisement to hospitality and real estate industries worldwide. J. David Young joins Henry S. Miller Commercial to spear-head the formation of Henry S. Miller Hospitality Group and to service all clients’ hospitality brokerage and development needs.
