Thumb at Towne North Shopping Center
DALLAS, TX - March 27,
2008 -- Henry S. Miller Company recently closed the acquisition of
the Tom Thumb location at Towne North Shopping Center in Irving. The
former “shadow” anchor contains 55,359 square feet, making the total
space owned at Towne North Shopping Center approximately 123,606
square feet. Greg Miller, President of Henry S. Miller Equities
Division negotiated the acquisition and combined the previously,
separately-owned properties into a single grocery-anchored shopping
center. Henry S. Miller Company has owned the shopping center
surrounding Tom Thumb for 8 years. Assisting in the transaction
were: Roy Norwood, President, Loy Shaw and Ryan Luxon, Senior Vice
Presidents of Henry S. Miller Commercial Investment Banking Division
and Vaughn Miller, President of Henry S. Miller Commercial Retail
Division. The Investment Banking Division of Henry S. Miller
Commercial arranged financing for 100% of the acquisitions costs.
Towne North Shopping Center is located at the SWC of Beltline Road
and Northgate Road in Irving, Texas. The seller was EIGFW Irving,
LLC, an affiliate of Equity Investment Group of Fort Wayne, Indiana.
