Miller’s Shawn Ackerman, Executive Vice President of Houston’s Retail Division, recently negotiated two separate leases within two separate Atascocita shopping centers totaling 13,500 square feet. The first of the lease transactions was arranged for the nation’s largest small-box discount retailer, Dollar General. With over 8,000 stores nationwide, Dollar General chose to locate one of their newest 10,000 square foot stores within Atascocita Market Square at 8060 FM 1960 East neighboring existing tenants, O’Reilly Auto Parts and Tuesday Morning. The second lease of 3,500 square feet was negotiated for EKAM Yoga in the Atascocita Plaza shopping center. The new yoga studio will be situated at 6900 FM 1960 East in Humble, Texas. Representing the landlords in both transactions; Atascocita Market Square JV for Atascocita Market Square and Trinity Property Consultants for Atascocita Plaza, was Shawn Ackerman, EVP Henry S. Miller’s Houston retail division.
