Miller Arranges the Sale of Las Brisas & Villas on Bowser

DALLAS, TX - April 9, 2012 - - Henry S. Miller Brokerage’s Lane Kommer, Associate in the Dallas-Fort Worth land and investments division, recently arranged the sale of two apartment complexes for California REIT, CityView.

Las Brisas, located at 4203 Gilbert Avenue, and the Villas on Bowser (4330 Bowser Avenue) include a total of 67 apartment units on ±80,000 square feet of land. The properties are located in one of Dallas’ most progressive areas, just north of Oak Lawn Avenue and east of Lemmon Avenue. Kommer, who knows the market well and has several property listings in the surrounding area, secured a number of prospective buyers for CityView’s off-market investment portfolio. Dueno A Dueno was one of the buyers presented to CityView and after negotiations Dueno A Dueno purchased the properties at close to asking price. Dueno A Dueno is a local investment company who plans to reposition the properties through interior and exterior renovations at Las Brisas and Villas on Bowser. Upgrades to the properties are already under way. Grant Guest of Perry Guest Co. will be handling the construction. Guest also represented Dueno A Dueno in the transaction.
